About.
Almanac is a vertical tab manager for Chrome built for people who live in their browser.
It started from a simple frustration: having dozens of tabs open with no good way to find, organize, or save them. Chrome's horizontal tab bar wasn't designed for how we use the web today. We open tabs for research, work, shopping, reading — and they pile up. Almanac gives you a vertical sidebar to see everything at once, auto-groups tabs by category, and lets you archive anything you're not using right now.
What We Believe
Privacy First
Your browsing data stays on your device. We don't run servers, track usage, or collect analytics. Period.
Free Means Free
No premium tier, no trial, no upsells. All features are included for everyone.
Simple Over Clever
Tab management should be obvious. If you need a tutorial, the design isn't good enough.
Your Data, Your Control
Sync uses your own iCloud — not our servers. Uninstall and everything is gone.
The Product
Almanac runs as a Chrome side panel extension. It works on Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, and any Chromium-based browser. The optional iCloud Sync feature uses a lightweight companion app to bridge the extension with your iCloud Drive folder — no accounts, no cloud services, no middlemen.
